Pizza, certificates, friends and teachers… what more could you ask for?

Today the teachers of Sir Wilfrid Laurier threw us the students a Pizza Party as a congratulation on another year passed. This year has had many ups and downs but as a team we have been able to pull together and compete in Waterloo. We did it as a team and although the certificates were based on individual accomplishments we would not have been able to achieve them if we had not worked as a team. The saying “there is no ‘I’ in team” rings very true in the world of robotics. You cannot build a robot that is to compete at Waterloo as a single person. We the students would like to thank the teachers for everything they have done for us all year. We may be able to build a robot, raise money and keep a website/blog going but without the support of our teachers and mentors we would not be here. This year has been amazing and it is all thanks to every moving part of the robot (team members) that have made the robot click and move as one. Without all of you RAM-Ferno would not exist.
