With a population of 859, Governor Simcoe Secondary School is a public secondary school in the District School Board of Niagara. Governor Simcoe provides students with comprehensive college and university-level courses, for apprenticeship, college and university admission. Former students have achieved a Bronze Medal for Canada in the World Junior Hockey Championships 2012, and a World Record by having four Team Canada Members who attended the same high school. Governor Simcoe takes great pride in their school and former, and current students refer to the school as “Our House”.
